Week 1 & 2

Your baby is more profound in expressing her likes and dislikes. You can notice this through her tantrums and objection when you take away things from her. This is also the time when separation anxiety sets in. You will find that your baby protests when you stay away from her for a long time. She shows profound attachment to her caretakers and dislikes for others.

Baby’s Day Out

After the baby, your life has taken a roller coaster ride. You’ve changed your schedules, cut back on your social time and stopped traveling or taking picnics. Now that you are able to handle your baby well, you may consider getting back to your life. You may also consider giving your baby a taste of the outside world. Here are some tips to rock your baby’s day out:

  • Pack the essentials: Pack your baby bag with essentials such as enough stock of diapers, a spare set of clothes, baby towel, baby wipes, pacifier and his favourite toy.
  • Food: While visiting public places, it may become difficult for you to feed your baby. Also, if your baby has started having solids, it is important to pack enough food to feed your baby during your time out. Get spill-proof containers to pack your baby’s food. Ensure that you sterilize them before packing food.
  • Plan outing aptly: Pack your baby bag with essentials such as enough stock of diapers, a spare set of clothes, baby towel, baby wipes, pacifier and his favourite toy.
  • Baby Bag: Buy a voluminous baby bag that can hold all your baby essentials. Remember, for the next few months, this bag is going with you wherever you go with your baby. So buy a bag with a colour that complements most of your clothes.
