Steps For Blood Sample Collection
After you have received the kit box, take out the collection card from the outer aluminum pouch.
Clean the outer tip of your finger with the swab provided.
Now, twist the lancet cover and ensure the “BD” on the white side of the lancet is right-side up
Place the tip of the lancet slightly against the fleshy tip of your finger and press it until you hear a click sound.
Discard the first drop of blood.
Next, hold your finger horizontally onto the collection card and lightly touch the blood drop to fill in the 5 pre-printed circles.
Finally, dry the card for 15-20 minutes away from sunlight at room temperature.
