It is the amount of semen ejaculated. According to the WHO, the amount ejaculated can range from 1.4 mL to 6.2 mL. Adequate semen volume ensures successful transport of the sperm and enhances chances for fertilization.
The measure of millions of tiny sperms present in your semen. According to the WHO, the number of sperms per ejaculate can range from 39 million to 701 million. A healthy range indicates appropriate sperm production and increased chances of conception.
TMC is calculated as follows: Semen volume X Concentration X Motility. According to the WHO, there should be not less than 40 million motile sperm in the ejaculate. TMC gives you the actual count of moving sperm in the ejaculate thereby regarded as an important factor for conception.
The measure of number of sperms per mL of your semen. According to the WHO, the number of sperms per mL can range from 16 million to 208 million. This parameter tells you how densely the sperms are packed in your semen volume and hence it is also known as sperm density.
This parameter shows the percentage of forward progressing sperms in your semen. It is a vital factor to be considered since sperms need to swim in a certain direction to reach and fertilize an egg. According to the WHO, total motility can range from 42% to 90%.
It refers to the percentage of sperms that are swimming in mostly straight line or in very large circles. According to the WHO, the progressive motility can range from 30% to 77%
It is the percentage of sperms that do not move in a straight line or move in tight circles. A sperm that just vibrates in place without any forward progression would be considered motile, but non-progressive. According to the WHO standards, non progressive motility can range from 1% to 32%.
The percentage of number of live sperms in your semen. This parameter gives the measure of all living sperms, both motile and immotile. According to the WHO, the sperm vitality can range from 54% to 97%.
It is the percentage of sperms with normal shape and size. As per WHO standards, a typical sample only has about 4% to 39% of normally shaped sperms. Disformalities found in morphology of the sperm may suggest poor development or genetic conditions.
It is the percentage of damaged genetic material (DNA) within the sperm. It is a less tested and less understood parameter that can help you choose the right fertility treatment protocol thereby avoiding unnecessary treatment costs. A DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI) greater than 30% is considered high
It is the percentage of sperms not swimming in your semen. Presence of large proportion of living but immotile sperms in the semen may indicate structural or genetic defects which requires attention. As per WHO standards, the immotile sperm count can range from 20% to 58%.

In the event you collect your sample in the evening or at night, be sure to dispatch the kit first thing in the morning. Any delay in dispatch of the sample by holding it too long after collection, may result in loss of viability of the sperm and in such cases you may need to do a repeat collection at your own costs.
This is not recommended. Since weekend shipping is not operated by our logistics partner, the sample will take more time to reach us. Hence please plan your collection between Monday through Friday.
It is recommended to abstain from all sexual activity for at least 3 days and not more than 7days prior to collection of your semen and should have had at least one ejaculate within the past 5 days. This will ensure a good sample for processing and preservation.
Place the coolant canister along with the sample in the steel shipment container inside the carton box along with the signed Semen Collection Declaration form. Once ready to post, place the carton box inside the tamper-proof prepaid return outer pack. Log into your dashboard and schedule an at home sample pick-up.
