A sperm count between 15 million to more than 200 million sperm per milliliter of semen is considered to be normal for a healthy man. Any value below 15 million per milliliter is considered to be low, and a count of less than 5 million per milliliter is a cause for extreme worry!1 This is because the lower the sperm count, the more difficult it may be for a man to conceive a child. Moreover, a low sperm count can also be a sign of an underlying health condition which if not treated on time, can even lead to infertility. Therefore, a man should consult a doctor or fertility specialist if he and his partner are facing any difficulties in getting pregnant. A doctor will begin potential treatment by asking you to undergo a test to analyze your sperm health, count & other parameters.
With the right sperm checking test, you can stay a step ahead and save time by testing yourself from the comfort of your home before your first consultation.
