How Big is Baby?

The amniotic fluid inside the uterus increases up to 1 litre, providing a warm and cozy environment for the baby to float in. Now your baby can differentiate day and night by the penetrating light through the thin uterine walls. Your little one has developed an immune system, which is a step closer to leading a healthy life outside the womb. The baby’s bones are developing to be stronger except the skull bone which remains soft in order to facilitate safe passage through the tiny birth canal during delivery.

  • If your nails are brittle, try eating biotin-rich foods such as bananas, avocados, whole grains, etc.
  • To avoid insomnia, follow a strict sleep pattern. Cut unnecessary naps, read magazines, and novels or listen to music till you feel sleepy.
  • Leave your pets outside and practice this till the end of your pregnancy. This is to avoid the risk of tripping when your tummy grows bigger every day.
  • Keep a track on your baby’s movement in the mornings and evenings. Count the movements such as kicks, rolls, flutters, etc., and see if there are enough movements. Consult your gynecologist on how to track the baby’s activities.
